George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, William Henry
Harrison, John Tyler, Zachary Taylor and Woodrow Wilson.

Society of Friends and The Abolitionists
Did you know that after following the teachings
of one George Fox in England, William Penn was actually a trustee in a Quaker
community in West Jersey before founding Pennsylvania?
PA - Did you know that The
Quakers or Society of Friends as they were called, helped to establish The
Underground Railroad for slaves to escape, and after The Civil War went south
to establish the first schools to educate the newly freed slaves.
PA - Did you know that in
1833 Quaker abolitionist Lucretia Mott founded the Philadelphia Female
Anti-Slavery Society?
PA - Did you know that in
just three days after it opened in 1838, the meeting hall for the Pennsylvania
Anti-Slavery Society was burned to the ground?
